Hello, this is my first post so I'm not sure if this is the right section. I have a wireless subwoofer from a Klipsh Reference R-20B but I do not have the soundbar. Is there anyway I would be able to modify this subwoofer to be installed in the trunk of a car?
Yes.
1. get a car amplifier
2. wire it up properly.
3. Put speaker cable beetween amp output and subwoofer driver.
4. enjoy 🙂

It would depend on the voltage & current requirements for the subwoofer you have. If you wanted to use the amplifier section you would need a complete separate power supply.
I have been looking at switch mode Dc-Dc converters for a 12V PA project i have been working on , but ended up using the voltage rails of an existing car power amplifier fed into the mixer and crossover units through their voltage regulators.
A DC-DC module like this might suffice.
