I recently bought a MiniDSP from a friend, and I'm planning to use it to split a stereo signal into 2.1. From what I have heard, MiniDSP has a decent DAC, but I have a pretty nice ezDAC, so is it possible to use digital output for the stereo signal, and analog output for subwoofer?
Basically, I would use SPDIF input into miniDSP, then split it into 2.1 and use SPDIF output to send stereo into ezDAC, and an analog output to send the subwoofer signal to sub amp. Is this possible?

Yes it is possible.
You will need also to get a miniDIGI board for the SPDIF input and output though.
If you are still interested, let me know and I will give you connectivity details.
