Here are some measurements, of one of the setups I've done. Notice the difference between 40 and 200Hz.

Hi, a little off topic, but i have too ask. I was looking at the graphs and saw something interesting other than the low-frequency boost.
In your research did you find it always reduces the cone breakup-frequency and other peaks and dips in the response?
How does this affect the harmonic distortion?

What graphs are you referring to?. I've not done any non-linear distortion measurements.
