Do K170/J74 FETs need to be from the same manufacturer to make a complementary pair?
I intend to use a Toshiba K170 with a Linear Systems LSJ74 for the input FETs of a F5 build.
Their datasheets are pretty identical but are there any subtleties that I'm missing?
I have the opportunity to buy genuine some K170s and intend to wait until the diyaudio store stocks some LSJ74's again to complete the pair.

I have and do. One controls one half of signal the other the other half. Some marriage at crossover but it works for me fine. I happen to have a number of 2SK170's and want to use them. I buy LSJ74's from store and match them to the stock of K170's I have.
