hi realforce
greetings how can we know if pcb is designed properly for
d class after all most important criteria is ground plane how does your
prototype sound
thanking you
andrew lebon
No no, this is not my prototype. I found it on some Thai forum few weeks ago and I wanted to build it. It is commercial product so I think it is good design.

I have to ask one question, when the power up to over 1000W ,reverse current will very large,so the output THD will very high,I think we have to change the output MOSFET connect method and make the mosfet body diode shut down ,so output signal will excellent when driver current enough.
IRS2092 not good choice in high power class D topic,I think we have to use discrete parts for better sound and stable products.
Keep gate drive return paths (from sources to driver) separate, possibly through 1ohm resistors. This helps a lot when parralleling, I didn't belive that until I was told to and tried myself.
Hi RealForce,
IRS2092 is made for half bridge only. If you want to drive 4 MOS you have to use either 2 IRS2092 with synchronisation in BTL mode or 1 IRS2093 (4 channels) used in full bridge mode.
IRS2092 is able to drive 1A only and the choice of MosFet is important! Don't use Mos with a Qg greater than 30nC with a switch frequency of 400KHz

Yes I also think that IRS2092 is not good at all. Right now I am working on modified version with discrete components.
hello here is the schematic😀
have you tried building it?
best regards,
salut Savu, nu am incercat sa o construiesc, deocamdata ma chinuie talentu la o sursa in comutatie foarte simpla si nu ii dau de cap🙁
if you live near Alba Iulia or Cluj Napoca i can help you with that smps you were talking about and you would have time for that schematic.salut Savu, nu am incercat sa o construiesc, deocamdata ma chinuie talentu la o sursa in comutatie foarte simpla si nu ii dau de cap🙁
I have some experience in smps but in class d almost 0
best regards,
Savu Silviu
silviu iti las id meu (ionutzxpo) si vorbim acolo mai mult daca ai timp eu lucrez de la 9 la 19 chiar si 20 seara ....

ok i will add you in my buddy list ...
one thing:
english please because this is an international forum and we don't want to start a habit amonghst other forum members...
best regards,

I made this amp board but its resetting when it drive hard at low frequency . I connected vcc to another 12volt 5 amp smps
