You can still get them at Rochester Elec for about $0.60
They have about 400
Well, I’m not trying to buy more, the truth is that I bought some from a non very reputable source and they have a production date of 641, so 41st week of 2006 and I’m trying to figure out if they were still in production that time or if they’re fake.
You could run them at 41 volts and see if they break...
Yes, I guess that’s what I’ll have to end up doing, I also bought some IRFP150 and other Toshibas from the same website, I will have to test them hard and if they break, then lesson learned...
BTW, I tried the ones in Rochester Elec and I got into an infinite loop unable to add them to the cart, Min purchase is 401 and Max is 55... LOL
Thanks for everything Mr. Pass!!!

I am seeing dates far more recent than 2006. Does not prove there was a batch made on your date but does not cry "foul!"

PRR,
I’m interested in the original IRFP044 without anything else in the part number, not the IRFP044N nor the IRFP044PBF, etc.
I’m aware the N version came after then the lead free PBF version came which is fairly new.
