Are you sitting down?
OK, now read further...
My case temprature on the PSU of my X-BOSOZ runs at around 85 degrees C when the case is closed (not much ventilation).😱 When the case is opened this cools down a bit. My heatsinks are fairly large (50mm X 60mm X 15mm) per mosfet and I don't want to add more.
I'm considering a fan - which I think of as too much mechanical motion / noise to help with ventilation.
On the other hand, I'm also considering the case if I do NOTHING!
I had a look at the specs of these on the datasheet and it seems within the temp range (corect me if I'm wrong). They being on the PSU I'm not too much worried about if the go - lots more where they came from.
What would be the opinion of the most learned?

Hi Vossie
The max. temp shoud be 50 degee C at the heatzink.
I know this is a problem, specially if you runs both channels from the same supply. If the mosfets shorts when blown, you might get a problem.
What about the heat at the other mosfets?
You can se what I did to keep the heat away here:

Thanks Henrik,
I use this X-BOSOZ (your schematic BTW!!) to feed my Aleph 30 gift from Mr Pass so I don't want any misshaps...
I'll don't have a aluminium bottom and I don't want to spoil the sides or back/front so I'll have to look at doing something then...
What do you make out from the data sheet of these mosfets - what is the max tempretures these can handle?
