edit: Sorry, wrong title. Should be "iraudamp7s short circuit pretotection"
Hello!
I have built a working Class D amplifier (iraudamp7s, IRS2092S, 120W Mono, IRFI4212H-117P) and I want to test all protections.
Over voltage, under voltage, temperature are working fine.
I know there's also the over current protection for high and low side MOSFET, which measures the voltage across the R ds(on). If one of the MOSFETS has a short, CSH or OCSET would sense it and shut down PWM.
I am now wondering if there is also a protection against a short circuit between GND and OUT. Is the over current protection also responsible for this or is there something other?
I'm afraid of just testing, because I don't want to damage my amplifier :/
best regards,
ginu

Out to gnd is covered by the mosfet DS voltage check.
