I'm one of the elder members I think: born in 1938 in Amsterdam. I studied electronics and ICT.
As a 12-Years old boy I started DIY radio with a Xtal-receiver. A few years later came the DC-receivers with tubes of course!
Also audio got attention as soon I could build amp's.
In 1958 I became a radio ham: PA0SU is the call.
The last 15 years I did special software projects concerning radio (see my website) and have built me excellent audio equipment: ESL + MFB = the best of 2 worlds......

Hello Herb and welcome to the forums. So glad you still have the spirit and are posting about it here. I can't even get my parents to consider using a computer.
