Hi. I have just joined what looks like a great forum and have posted a message in the Speakers section about a pair of 1970 Wharfedale Rosedale speakers I am currently restoring. They are part of my "bedroom home theatrette" with Dual 1219 turntable (also from 1970), new Sony DVD and old Yamaha amp.
I love English equipment and currently have as my main system a Cambridge Audio A500 integrated amp and D500SE CD player (interconnect Audioquest Topaz), feeding Monitor Audio MA-202 floorstanding 2-ways and Mirage BPS-150i subwoofer.
I used to have a (temperamental but beautiful-sounding) Cambridge Audio (UK-built) C-50 amp, which I traded-in years ago when it failed for an early NAD in the mid 80s.
My musical interests are best described as "eclectic", but my current musical project is a detailed study of the January 1969 Get Back Sessions era of The Beatles.
Cheers, Paul
