Out of academic interest: I often see that sellers from the US don't sell internationally. What are the specific reasons for that? When I sell internationally then it is an extra line I have to put on the shipping label for the country it goes to. Extra cost is covered by the seller. What are the differences for US Americans when shipping abroad?Sale is CONUS only.
Most people when presented with the shipping cost from the USA to anywhere overseas pass on the sale. Just to expensive.
Thinking of using 12AX7-SRPP-45-IT-300BYEA!!!!!!!
any comments or suggestions?
Peace,

The 45 is a great sounding tube, but you might be exceeding the 30ma max rating of the Cinemag. I would recommend keeping the current near 25 mA to allow a little headroom. Might want to ask folks on the tube forum, or contact Cinemag.

All great tubes. One thing you need to consider is the available power output. The 300B grid likes to be driven. I think the 45 is a better option for DHT.
Check out the Karna amp. It's PP300b, but uses a 45 and IT. With a little surgery you could build as SE300b.
I don’t know if I ever thanked you for the Cinemag Interstage xformers or your help.
thanks you!
Covid got in the way of everything. I’m just starting to feel somewhat normal so I hope to start on this project soon.
