i have a question here ... somewhat my 2 ways my tweeters decide to play some funny tricks ... the soft dome tweeter when it stopped sound with a light tap on it ... it will resume back the sound and working as usual and some time later it will decide to act up again ... swapped amp and already confirmed is not the amplifier culprit ... what else i should check? is the tweeter gone bad? the dome tweeter has another 4 screws holding the voice coil and the magnet ... thanks

try disconnecting the tweeter and measure its resistance and see if you can break the connection by tapping the tweeter- if so the voice coil or connecting wire is broken somewhere and only connects if tapped on - which would be bad because difficult to find and fix.
you should also check the tweeter connectors, are they soldered or plugged on (disconnect and reconnect)? same with connections at the crossover.
you might also want to check if the tweeter actually makes no sound at all, when it fails. if there is still some (distorted) sound the voice coil might be stuck because of deformation or tilted.

this 2 way speaker uses 2 way binding post which was designed for active biamped use so passive crossover was not included ... but i was pretty sure it was the tweeter problem since i've tested it using a capacitor in series to the tweeter with another amp to test and it shows the same problem
Get a jeweler´s loupe or stack 2 +4 power cheap reading glasses which is about the same and examine tweeter under good light, to see where wire is broken.
Resolder suspect connections although it´s relatively common to have voice coil wire break *just* reaching terminal, because that spot accumulates mechanical tension.
