I notice that when I'm using my headphone tube amp, a nearby fluorescent light will cause interference that can be heard until the light is moved at least a meter and a half away. I wonder if it's easy to shield against this type of interference.
Could:
Put aluminum window screen over the lamp to shield it.
Bypass any connections to the amp with small ceramic caps (100pF or so) to prevent RFI from entering.
Keep the lamp farther away! 😉
Switch to incandescent, it looks better anyway...
What else?
