That helps a little bit. Of course, the speaker connections really date them, as well as the yellowed stickers. I think that is correct, the price is too high. I bet there were some covers for the tops which aren't shown. I like the idea of them, but if it were me, I would pass due to age. And something tells me that is particle board type construction. Ew..
Looks like a chocolate fondue sort of thing.
( BTW, As I recall, those BIC speakers came with a cloth grill on a squarish frame )...
BIC Soundspan TPR 600, they look nicer and bigger than the 200. EIther way, BIC were never considered a "good" speaker.

Come to think about it, I remember BIC back from the day. Their speakers were pretty crappy, up and down the line. I looked for an honest review, but many "reviews" are from people who have owned them for years or are trying to sell them.
Like the "ultra rare" descriptions, etc...
