comparing circuits, the Higura looks very similar in topology to the F5 (with cascode),
apart from the BJT outputs,
we all often take a very different path to end up very close together!

They're in the same genus maybe.
Cascodes as you say, different devices, no split geedback...
If we're going to rank this as an interesting similarity, then lots of amplifiers are similarly interesting.
