wow...I just checked this amp and it looks like it is a real nice unit. turn it on and carefully move those floating wires away from transformer, try to push those wires to the bottom of chassis. I would also get an alligator wire and one end to chassis the other end touching some GROUND points...be very carefully not to touch any voltages terminal...just ground points. it can be a floating ground somewhere. it will be nice if you can get a multimeter to check voltages. if you are not sure what are the ground points on boards...I would not try to test points.

it is a great sounding integrated. I don't trust myself doing what you suggest, I think at this point I will have someone look at it that knows what their doing. thanks for the idea though!
