Hi all,
I'm new here but I've read a lot from the psone thread and I'm wondering can one build a diy (either ohp design or the mdf box design) using the intec lcd 5.6 for gamecube (of which I own two- except one's missing the power cord)
I'm not looking for a large screen- 40-60" 4:3 diagonal would be ideal, and I'm not looking to spend a lot either- under $200 total in parts.
I already have two commerical projectors at home, a sony 1020Q crt and a sharp A10X lcd, so I've seen what commercial grade technology can do, both old and new. These diy pjs will probably be used for outdoor recreation or more likely for my boys gaming needs, so long life is a must. Picture quality, of course the more the better, but I'm not as picky as my associates at avsforum but I am starting to develop this diy bug so if anyone can help me get along this route I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks
Victor

well, the easy way to tell how it will look when projected is to just look at it normally, then just imagen it much bigger.

I used to have one of those and the qaulity is terrible! Just looking at the screen it was horrible, good luck tho!
lol what a nice post, glad i didnt get one then, shame your in usa i just got 10 CTX panoview 540 monitors in there great for projection i use one for my projector, only 640x480 but i play games and watch tv and movies, tis all good, there being sold in 2's if you want to pay the postage i can porbably sell you 2 for £80 uk yjen u'll have to make up the postage cost, they go for about £60 each on ebay so you can get most of your money back by selling one.
