Instek GDS-1022 firmware upgrade

Hi everyone:

Real electonics beginner here. I noticed that there may be some bugs in the firmware of the Instek GDS-1022 oscilloscope
I recently bought. While I know extremely little about electronics, I know quite a bit about computers.

The scope currently has firmware version 1.24. I downloaded 1.26, but I don't want to upgrade to that firmware
unless I hear from others that 1.26 is reasonably reliable/stable.

-I can't see any way to downgrade firmware if something goes wrong
-This scope is probably not under warranty, since I bought it in another country.
-There is no changelog at all (come on, Instek-lazy lazy) so I don't know what might get fixed or not

Can anyone else comment on whether they are doing okay with firmware 1.26 on this scope?

I upgraded today. So far, firmware 1.26 seems to be stable, and (thank goodness), fixes a few really annoying bugs.
