I have just registered on the DIY Audio Forum on the recommendation of a friend. I run a small audio business named R.E. Designs. Some of you may of heard of my small company, and I'm sure some of you haven't. In any case, I hope I might be of some help to folks here.

Introduction

Thanks for the welcome, and maybe you can help me. I have a line level buffer/headphone amp schematic that is a pdf file and some additional notes that go with it. Can you tell me how I would go about posting this?

Hi Dan,

As long as there are no copyright or intellectual property issues, we would be happy for you to post this information.

Select the correct forum, which in this case would be either the "Analog" or "Solid State" forum. If you want to post multiple files, you could just include them in a zip file and attach it to your post using the "Attach file" feature. You could also attach picture files using this feature. A more advanced way is to use the "vB Code" features which will allow you to link to an image on the WWW.

Introduction

I have a question for the moderator. The buffer circuit contains two op amps and a discrete output. Which forum do you think I should put this on, solid state or chip amps?

Chip amps are things more like 3875-based power amp designs. Solid State would probably be more appropriate.

Hi Dan and welcome to diyAudio 🙂

Chip Amps is generally used to describe power amps with monolythic output devices. Most of the time anyway...😉

Everything else, using either discreets or ICs should go in Solid State.
