Input Sensitivity

Hi there!
Could someone please give me a real good explanation of the Input Sensitivity factor, is this just a measure of the lowest signal required for amplification or what?, would be very pleased if you could help me and while I'm still writing, How to measure it?

Input Sensitivity is just a measure of the input signal level that has to be applied for the amp to reach its
full output power.
