innovatek 7" LCD and HDTV
I am planning on purchasing the Innovatek 7" LCD for my DIY projector. My question is when I have it hooked up to my computer that has the ATI HDTV wonder, how will the HDTV look? I know it wont be true HD, but will it be even able to display it? Anyone ever have any experience with using the 7" LCDs for HDTV?

HD on Innovatek
Assuming you are talking about the IN-007VG, the lcd will be able to display 480P. I have tried it using an XBOX witha an x2vga adapter. 780P was out of range. I then ran some HD movie samples from here ->
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/content_provider/film/contentshowcase.aspx
All movies ran perfectly however since the lcd's native resolution is no where near 720/1080P, the LCD resizes the image. The ATI card should be no different. 480P will be fine, and 720/1080 might be resized to fit the screen.

Re: innovatek 7" LCD and HDTV
ATI's DTV player will scale the image so it will display on any resolution that your graphics card supports. It will no longer be true HD but you will still get the nice 16:9 aspect ratio of HD.
