Hello Guys,I am new here but have old problem,,Am using small Peavey Pi8B power amp and 2 ,10" passive 8ohm main speakers.Daisy chain a floor monitor from one of the mains..The problem is I have no way to control mon speaker.Is there an inline vol control that can be put just before the mon?I was even thinking "L" pad but I really don't know what is best "fix" for the situation..Thanks for any remarks or help.
Peavey used to make some models with level control on floor monitors. It was a large 25 ohm 25 watt rheostat wired in series with the cab input. Don't worry about impedances, which is what an L pad is all about.
Running stage monitors off the mains like that is real old school stuff. They haven't offered those models in years.
