I found an old Altec Voice Of The Theatre speaker in a friend's garage and was wondering if anyone knows which model it is and if it's worth restoring Any info or advice is greatly appreciated.

It is either 828 or 825 cabinet. Depending on plywood or mdf.
The driver could be one of a few. 416 or 515 variety. Do you have Any more pictures of the woofer?

It was packed into a garage full of stuff so I couldn't get great pics, will try next time. Cabinet seemed to be plywood.
I looked at the photos on my pc to enlarge them.
Definitely plywood and if the woofer magnet cover is the green in the photo it is most likely an early 416a.

Is there any chance the crossover network is still good or should I start thinking about reworking?
It’s likely OK. And since it’s 500Hz you probably have a 511 horn.
I am not particularly fond of that crossover, but it works well for a lot of people.

Oops!
Completely missed the first pics, so better be a 511.
Ditto, needs CD horn EQ or DSP + switch caps to PIO.

Is that "switch capacitors to programmable input/output" or some sort of oil caps? Haha, sorry, I'm an amateur
