Greetings, I'm hoping someone can provide the dimensions of the aluminium bracket Rega used on the older planar turntables where they had a rubber band supporting the motor.
I am fixing a planar 3 for a friend and have misplaced the bracket. I don't have the deck with me either so would also need the the distance between the mounting screws.
Thanks sp

Hey, thanks planet IX, and double thanks for going to the trouble of opening up your deck.
I was just hoping someone who had upgraded to the 24V motor may have had one lying around they could check.

If I get the time this weekend, I'll try and go pull mine (Planar3) and measure. I don't think that the exact dimensions are critical. The hole spacing should be clear enough from the mounting screws. You can get a good estimate from the pic above.
What is your application here?

Hi wrankin, thanks for the offer but probably not necessary to go to the trouble. As you say dimensions not critical but if you could verify the distance between the mounting screws that would be handy.

Also I think planet IX meant to say the hole was 18mm diameter and not 8 but I have a Rega here I can check for fit.
And in case you're wondering my Rega has the motor attached by sticky pad so no bracket or screws used that I could measure.
