Hi,
Anyone has experience with Indel toroidal transformers? Are they any good? No buzzing?
I need a pair of 300VA 30-0-30V and these are very unexpensive - to good to be true? http://www.tme.eu/en/details/tst300w_2x30v/toroidal-transformers/indel/tst300016/
What about these from Talema? 55174-P1S2 TALEMA - Transformer: toroidal | TME - Electronic components
Should I buy any of these?
Thank you.

I think I'm going to buy the Indel. 450VA Indel vs 300VA Talema same price. Should I?
(Not the ones in my post above)

hello,
I've used INDEL power transformers in my diy amps.
Some comments:
no problems with buzz or hum when primary/mains rated voltage not exceeded.
my DIY F5 with 600VA indel buzzed once when i was in business trip for a long time abroad (where mains voltage can be higher then 230 V-240V) when I brought it home everything was ok again.
Core material seems not as good as the audio grade transformer core - but you know price of audio transformer. 600VA needs soft start (without - will trigger household switchboard fuses/protection) or at least therimstor (if class A) .
One of my amps 800VA audio grade transformer turns on without any surge without soft start. 300-450 VA should be fine IMHO without any soft start.
one of INDEL transformer had little asymmetry in the secondary voltages , but only one of all I've used (more than 12 pcs).
the mounting bracket is pretty rough with small diameter hole for screw (can be fixed with drill and i usually sand it and then paint with spray paint) and it have rubber gaskets for insulating/ reduction of vibration.
in pictures - 600VA and 2x 200VA

I've only used very small Indel toroids and they were fine.
I don't know whether you can source AnTek toroids for a reasonable price in Portugal or not, but I have used 200VA and larger AnTek toroids and they were very quiet. Good regulation over load as well.

Hello, there is a 2v 6A winding on the power transformer Indel tsl 180/001.What is the use of this winding please ?
Back then about 10 years ago indel did made some audible buzz. So i switched to toroidy.pl
Don’t know about quality these days..
