The CA18RLY is an excellent sounding driver, especially in the lower-mids to bass region;
You need to decide whether you need more bass level, or more bass extension.
for extension, port the box; for more level, add the BSC inductor (&tweeter pad)

I was thinking of increasing the volume of the box, obtaining a small peak above the resonance at the expense of a greater extension of the bass at frequencies lower than the resonance for a reason: I listen to music at low, medium / low volumes and to these values of spl according to me the very low frequencies however, I would not feel them because our ear is not very sensitive to those frequencies (we need high values of spl to begin to hear them), while the frequencies where I would peak I would hear them ... what do you think?
I don't think there is any "may" about it as it will be due to resonanceIf I were you I would try the box volume change as it is so easy to do just to hear the effect. However any "boost" you may get from this will likely be a lower quality of bass.

I Think you mean decreasing the volume. And that will make a small difference. I assume you already tried putting the speaker in a corner to get the boundary support.
What type of crossover do you use? The crossover is perhaps the most important key to the sound and how it can be improved. Is it accomodating baffle support? without it most speakers sound anemic.

The crossover is of the second order for High passes and low passes, without bafflestep compensation.
in series with the tweeter there is a 3 ohm resistor and a 5.6uF capacitor, in parallel a 0.4 mh inductor.

sbronf, it appears that you have enough of the inductance in 2mH to not need any more of bsc and if your baffle isn't already slanted or similar, you could use a second capacitor (3rd order electrical) in the HF XO network for better phase alignment. Can you show the enclosure drawing?

Did you dial in a value of Z offset (a distance or time) that is telling the software how much the woofer behind the tweeter is? I would suggest to place a 10 uF behind the 5.6 uF, in series with the tweeter, both units wired in phase. This modification will not improve the bass, only the summation at XO point.

Yes i did it.
The real offset is about 3cm, but I inserted half 1.5cm in the simulation software. This is because an experienced friend has advised me after various experiences of doing so.
in the simulator if I increase the value to 3, the two speakers will no longer perform well in phase.
do you think I should enter the real data?

Why don't you trace the response of the actual drivers using official specs and then include the real offset. You can simulate the baffle size also and compare it to your previous sim.
