In wall speakers

Hi, i posted this in the markaudio thread, with no luck/answers.
I want to know if anyone tried the chr-70 as in wall/ceiling.
I was thinking about a couple of sealed 3 liter(or smaller) enclosures
as surrounds up in the ceiling and L/C/R with 2 drivers in each box 12 litre sealed, of course with bass support.

I have not tried them, because in my opinion the inwall/ceiling placement of speakers are not conducive for a HiFi experience. I was at a friend's house once and he let me listen to his inwall speakers, they were Mid Fi gear, and the music just sounded ... flat ... just like the walls were.

May be ok for a home theater set up since when you watch a movie, you are not trying to imagine how deep or wide the soundstage is or how pin point the stereo image is. In addition, digital dolby and such signal processors direct the sound to go where the movie producer want you to hear so how the speakers are placed are not as critical.

I know what you mean BQC, but its a new construction(Im building a new room upstairs) and i have the chance to build almost any enclosure i want, at least for the front channels.
I have actually listen to the IW 1230 In Wall by ELAC and was surprised how good it sounded, but at that pricetag of 7000 sek(around 1000 us dollars) a pair
my budget is way over my head for a ht-setup in that little room.
Then i came up with an idea of a diy budget theater that could sound OK for little money and with the CHR-70 with its good price/performance it could work.
