I've sourced two of these projectors, with blown globes.
new replacement globes will be about $AU340 each!!!
these are old, low spec projectors, so obviously its not worth it.
the question is, where can I source a suitable globe to attempt to fit into it?
I was looking at the HID car headlights, with ballast, which can be had for about $AU90 a pair.
however, I'm not sure if these would even be bright enough.
any help would be much appreciated!
thanks!

ok, I'll probably buy the headlight globes and balasts, I'll buy some that will fit in my car.
the question is, what "colour" should I get?
what colour are normal projector lights?
these are only 35watt xenon globes, how will this go in the projector?
should I just not bother?

your lamp is 150w UHE, right?
I have the burner, can you rebuild your lamp kit?
My 150w BSM-AC burner can do it, price is $80,

yes, 150watt UHE I believe...
how does one rebuilt it?
what are you talking about a burner? 😕
thanks for the email.
but instead of receiving two projectors with dead bulbs... I received one projector, with a half dead bulb, except, the projector doesn't work properly, it has pink ghosting, I believe the red LCD panel is somehow out of alignment.
I'll post pics, maybe a new thread.
stupid ebay sellers!

I'm not sure if a bad globe could somehow cause this.
I have another other projector InFocus LS700 which I believe has the same globe, and very similar specs to the LP735
so I'll try that globe out.
