need more info on your amp. Like is it 2 ohm stable when bridged to 2 channels? if it is, Id do this:

Bridge 2 channels of the amp giving you something like 1x 400W + 2x 200W. Then use the bridged 400W channel to power the two subs wired in parallel make a 2 ohm load. Then use the remaining 2x 200W channels to power either the front or the rear pair, this is upto you as it is a personal preference, most people would say the front ones. Then power the last pair of speakers from the HU. easy peasy aye😉

Look ill be honest with ya I know jack botu car audio I can install but thats it I got given the amp for a bday present its and audioline al2004 its 4 channel bridgeable and tri mode has in built cross overs and stable into 2 ohms...not that I know wat it all means but thats what the box says 🙂

why's that? whats wrong im so lost im not very electronically educated which is what leads to my next question....

a mate of mine wired up the amp and the subs and all the pseakers and he had them all running off the amp which from the sounds of it is very bad *lol* and now the amps gone dead...there was no burrning smell or anything and no blown protection fuse. The amp instructions says it has overload protection is this actually the 30A fuse I put in the front of it or another fuse inside..or what exactly?? Sorry Im so dumb I know...but im trying to learn

I dont know about that amp. There are a few threads on these forums along those lines, you should search and read them. We cant really help you with all the decisions on an install. You will definetly need to learn more. If you have any specific questions about Car audio then we can answer them but for situations like this you're basically on your own because its too hard and time consuming for some one to help you via the internet🙂

Here's what you should do:
Always seach these forums before posting questions on here, it has most likely been asked before.
Car audio magazines provide ALOT of info and stuff to learn.
Seach the internet for car audio site and forums to learn too.
And use some puncuation! like the full stop 😀 😀

Good luck.

Iv'e played around with installation with a mate of mine and its all looking good so thanks for all your advice and stuff Ill be sure to come back here in the future
