My new nForce2 motheboard has great sound features, but uses a really crappy AC97 CODEC.
Besides using an external DAC (ill build one later), can you guys sugest anything i can do to improve this:
Is there a way to remove the DC blocking caps and remove the DC using high quality opamps (ive got a heap of OPA627/637 waiting to be used).

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Well not exatly a heap, ~15 of each.
But they are spares, so if i can use them to improve this CODECs out, ill do so.
yes, you can..... but would anyone put a V12 into a Hyundai?
save those OPA´s for a external DAC, and leave the Codec as it is, really there is hardly nothing you can improve (I tried it with some cards, the improvement is illusion.... the best one was still the live! with the external UDA1334 DAC...)
I´ll suggest you to by a CS8412 and some TDA1543´s......
easy to build and sound quality [not measurements!! ;-) ] is better than my Terratec Aureon with WM8770 Codec....
