yes, the same board, I like it as well, sounds a bit forceful but I will experiment with different opamps and try to shape the sound a little, I will measure it as well as soon as I'm back, .... away at the moment.
There's no reason it sounds different just because it is Chinese.
With 1.3B people, they must have their share of smart engineers ;-)
There's a lot of variables, one of the important ones being the PSRR of the circuit being powered and the power amp, speaker, etc.
A potentially negative point is that they don't carry the two grounds all the way to the sense points, which are fixed.
There's a central ground too so I'm pretty sure it measures worse.
Best comparisons/tests are done with headphones as that limits the variables a bit.
To be absolutely sure you have the best solution, get the diyaudiostore boards. You'll support the forum (I don't get anything from it), which is also worth a few bucks.

I totally agree Jan, I future I will consider buying from audio store, especially because, the designs are scrutinised by many skilled diy'ers, and that help is always close by.
My last reason, I will not support chineese marked as I used to, no politics mentioned.

Otherwise I will also try other variations.
Yes, within 3 weeks i will recieve this board. Then i desgn a board without the input diodes and caps and output caps as dropin replacement for lm78xx/lm79xx regulators.
Will you do some noise measurements on the board you recieve? I'm curious about its performance, output impedance vs frequency etc.

This was from 2015 :

And a later version with TO220 power devices :

Both versions have modifications to allow them to be done in this size (13mm width), as well as being stable with pretty much any electrolytic output caps.
The two outer pins of the DIL header is optional sense pins as in the original design.
And Jan has a pair from the first batch made.

PCBs only available as part of our projects.
I made a promise not to compete with Jan's original version.

No problem,I got that. So I have to make my own PCB. There is no commercial intent and the schematic is different. I like to draw PCB’s and test them.
Hi. I have some China jung regulator boards with output MOSFETs . I just want to know if led quality makes difference. My friend have lite on brand LEDs and is there anyone compare the noise ? I have Taiwan made bright led brand LEDs. And is it ok to use opa627 on soic to dip adapter instead of ad817 which I can not get right now. And I have 2x22v ac transformers. I will use them for opa627 active crossover with gain and dcb1 on single board ( I think 50ma per rail)
