go to; SKA sponsored Audio Forum - Products and go to minireg. These things work extremely well.

Minireg won't do... it delivers only 40ma, while SAA7220 requires 180mA (check the datasheet for that!)

These performed extremely well

I confirm it preforms very well with LM4562NA.
and some small mods should make it better.
and in the past someone have moded it also with success

The 78** plus some passive HF fixes is cheaper and will perform almost as well as the minireg...😎
