improving parts on Audiosector kit

I would actually recommend to everybody, using GC kits, to try the additional bypas (4.7u or 10u, BG or Panasonic) only on negative side. The results may be interesting.

As to the BG N caps, I still regard them as better than most film caps. I was doing comparisons in the DAC output and BG N were better than MIT RTX, Jensen copper foil, Hovlands, Kimber, Wondercap, Russion military oil caps. The only caps that could compete here with Bg N were Siemens MKV, and Teflon V-Caps were definitely better than BG N. However, the last ones are about $300/pc, but well worth the price, considering what some people pay for interconnects.

And remember, the best is what sounds the best to You 😉

4.7 ufd stacked film and foil

I just tried adding 4.7uf epcos stacked film caps right on the V- caps. Usually, I don't like what bypass caps have done in my other projects, but so far I think this is an all around improvement. Incidentally, I thought the amp sounded better with the 10uf panasonic caps removed from the rectifier boards.

Nice work!
Thanks

Do you have a picture of these? All I can find are 2.2 ufd 100v. A 4.7 ufd 50v or 25volt would be great for coupling.
