I've read most of the threads involving modifying CD/DVD players for audio, but have read very little concerning improving video output. I cracked open my JVC player, and found steel jumpers carrying 14 volts about an entire foot across the board (probably 5 jumpers, totally maybe 4 inches in length!
). I wouldn't consider this to be the most thought out approach... anyway, where are the biggest places I can improve video? Sound is just as important, but I've seen little info on video so far.. Player is a jvc xv-421, not the best, but its what I've got to work with.. if I break it, not a huge loss. hooked thru component to a sony vega.
