i am wanting some information that i am sure some of you will be able to provide regarding optimizing an amplifier circuit for a given load
assuming the power supply is built appropriately if we have a circuit that gives us 50wrms @ 8 ohms with 1n & 1p channel device it will be passing 2.5 amps. if i were to add an extra pair of devices and presented a 4ohm load they should each pass 2.5 amps giving 100wrms?
so with this theory if i were to use 8n's & 8p channel devices and gave it a 1ohm load would it give me the 20 amps and 400wrms this line of thinking would suggest?
if not how do i do it or can someone suggest a circuit that can run down to 1 or even 0.5 ohm loads
