hello everybody!
if you wouldn't mind, I really need some/your help, please. I am trying to trace the impedance curves for Eminence Beta 12A and Fane Sovereign 12-300 but, no matter which software I've been using, (vituixcad, spltrace and another one whose name i can't recall now) couldn't get it right. could anybody help me, please?
thank you in advance

Use the Tracing tool in VituixCAD .
It's by far the best ( the rest aren't worth the effort ).
VituixCAD also creates + exports a phase trace that's lacking in most others.
Learn to use its extra 3 picture tools which are found in the upper left hand area of the window ( highlighted in yellow in my posted pic of the FANE 12 ).
For the first pic that you posted, you'll need to use the "Grid Removal" tool ( since the impedance trace is the same color as the grid ).
The second pic that you posted is for a Fane 10" ( btw ).
- In the 2nd pic there shouldn't be any problem getting a clean trace when the printed trace is such a different color ( red in this case ).
- Maybe it's in your setup ( see my pic as to how to get this to trace properly and spit ought good numbers ).
I'll post files tomorrow if you can't get it together by then ( learn how to fish, etc. etc. etc. )

Thank you! I got it now! I had to set the Z axis on Logarithmic.
Thank you all! My problem was the Z axis which was set as linear instead of logarithmic.
Thank you all again
Thank you all again
Glad it's all working now!
Re; Fishing
Okay!
Here's the meaning behind my words;
“If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day.
If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.”

My first boss once told me, after he grew frustrated with my youthful lack of discipline:
"Build a man a fire, and keep him warm for a night...
Set a man on fire, and keep him warm for the rest of his life..."
"Build a man a fire, and keep him warm for a night...
Set a man on fire, and keep him warm for the rest of his life..."
No beer for you until you learn something.. 🙂
If you're talking to me, thank you for the kind offer, but I quit drinking 3 years ago
Well, I just learned something 🙂 (congratulations, by the way)
Thank you
