Imax Large Format DVD

Hello,

I am new to DIY Video and I have a question regarding Imax Large format DVD's. I was just getting ready to purchase a standard 106" diagonal screen and was wondering If should make a bigger one for these types of movies. Is the ratio different from 16:9?

I found out. Its just 4:3 ratio. For some reason I thought it might be different.

I have manny imax dvd's and they modify the actual imax film to be 4:3 ratio so it wont look like a fish eye when u watch it on your tv, however some scenes still have the imax format and it is realy anoying lol but for a curved screen setup would feel very real
