Galtis plans

Stephan, great work with the Galtis!!

I'm sure many of us would love to share in your success with this project so I just priced up getting the plans on your web pages translated into English by the NZ Translation Service...

Hehehe, the 7 page Word document would cost $1390 NZ to translate... that's about the same price as building a pair of ProAc 2.5 clones!!

So - on behalf of all of us who'd like to contemplate this design I'll make you a deal. If you translate the plans for us "Limited to English only" people, if you've ever in New Zealand I'll buy you a beer or 12 😎

Seriously though, that is a most impressive design, and whilst it definitely draws on existing designs it's great to see a new one being spawned from them.

Hello Stefan B,

I really like the look of your loudspeakers, very nice finishing work. It appears that you may be to diy loudspeakers what Peter Daniel is to diy electronics... both top notch and a definite benchmark.

1 question, What kind of cable do you have running from your power bar to the wall in your living room photo? It looks to be some kind of Nordost? Also how does it affect the sound of your system using the flat cable for ac.

Thanks

KevinLee🙂

Thanks for all the kind words. I will se if I can get the time to translate the “important” parts off the GALTIS building instructions to English. 12 beers in New Zealand is something to look forward to.

The flat cable in my system is the speaker cable, Nordost Red Dawn. My power chords are JPC 2.5 and Supra LoRad

Hello Stefan B,

Extremely nice job.................!
The GALTIS looks like the Reference Plus Monitor i have seen on the AUDIO components site.
http://www.audiocomponents.nl/ then go to the Scan Peak models. For all you guyz interested........ drawings are included.

We love to see more of your creations in the future !

Piersma
