Can i run two shivas bridged in 2ohm and one bridged in 4ohm on the same 2ch amp, or can I wire all three bridged at 4 ohm?I was gonna wire all three in parellel but it would be like 1.3ohm and i dont think that amp can handle it.Can anyone give me advice on the best way to wire these? I mostly want all three shivas to be able to reach they're full excursion safely off one amp.
I have an audiobahn a8002t amp.

If you wire the voice coils of the drivers in series on each driver, you will get a 16 ohm load per driver, and then wire the three drivers in parallel you will get a 5.33 ohm load. This will mean you will get just under 800 watts from the amp, so around 250 watts per driver. If this doesn't make sense let me know, and I will try and clarify

Id bet too much power. With low frequency drivers these days youll run out of excursion LONG before you run into overheating. 250 watts each should be good, besides you can always change it later.

Ummm...not sure how you came up with 2.2 ohms
By my calcs:
1/Zeq = 1/16 + 1/4 +1/4
Therefore Zeq = 1.78 ohms...
even if you did run it like that, the problem is the power is not distributed evenly, and so when you are maxing out you amp at over 1600 watts, you get 711 Watts into the two with their voice coils wired in parallel, and and 177 Watts in the one with the voice coils in series.
I second xstephanx with the excusion problem. I have a shiva for home in a small sealed box with a PE 250 Watt plate amp, and it has no problem making the sub hit its excursion limits.
As a general rule, keep the drivers so they are all seeing the same amount of current, otherwise you are not maximizing the system, as one driver is working harder than the rest.

Wow i was right for once. Do you have space for 4? cause adding one more would making wiring WORLDS easier and give a bit mroe output even!
another sneaky option...
This is a job for one channel of the amp driving 1 of each drivers voice coils in parallel, the other channel driving the other 3 voice coils in parallel. Should give more than a couple hundred watts per woofer, with no problems sharing current between the 2 channels. Just make sure you get the phasing of everything correct...
