Well I know you said no ex-girlfriends...but
So I was going out with this girl, and I was still planning and just started building and they were named The Cassandra's..
Then we broke up, and they were called something else
Then I screwed them up and they were all discolored and messed up looking with holes that I covered up in the wood....
They were then called the Cassandra's again.

ruerose said:better yet, what does your wife call them?
"Those horrible, ugly, pieces of ****."
And that's when she's in a good mood.
Yes I do name my speakers. Well, some of them.
The set in my my bedroom are called my Jimmy speakers, named after Jimmy Buffett, the music I use to do my testing. When I built a second set, similar to those but slightly bigger I then had to name them my Big and Little Jimmy's.
The 15" coax's are known as the party speakers with Thumper, the 15" woofer.
My outdoor sets are as follows: The Altec A7 cabinets are the Little speakers and the A4's are the Big speakers. My 4X dual tens are the are the Small outdoor system.
The set in my girlfriend's garage are the Pinto speakers, named after the car they rode in for many years.
The reburbished aluminum units are the Mini's.
The garden speakers are called the Garden speakers.
The home theatre speakers are called the HT system.
There, I've come clean.
My name is Cal and I have names for my speakers.
