Can anyone confirm how the Marantz CD94 Mk2 differs visually from the Mk1?
I believe that the Mk1 had a badge on the drawer saying something like "16bit / Z-filter" whereas the drawer on the Mk2 was plain, with no stick-on badge.
Also did the printed legend on the Mk2 actually say "CD94 Mk2" or just was the Mk2 bit never mentioned?
I hope someone has a Mk2 out there and can confirm one way or the other!
Cheers, Tosh.

Hi Tosh
The front panel legend (bottom left under the drawer) is:
"MARANTZ COMPACT DISK PLAYER CD-94II"
The rear panel label states:
"MODEL No. CD-94MK2"

Thanks Geoff - I thought something was amiss with this machine. I've taken its lid off and found only one plain vanilla TDA1514, which I now believe is the spec for the Mk1 - the Mk2 having a pair of single crowns?
Cheers, Tosh.
