Idea Part II, Knock this!!

After go over my 1st idea, think i might have gotten a better idea. (See enclosed picture). After reading some treads, I really want to consider using LOA lights. My new idea is to use a projector panel with a Delta IV lens. My idea is to bounce the LOA off of a mirror, that way by changing the size and angle of the mirror I can start with 1 LOA and if it works well add two more. This is a plain for the summer, so it can change, especially since I have not heard much about LOA results. Anyway, any comments on my rough draft of a new plain?

I think it will give you "wild" light, unevenly lighted LCD image due to the widely variable distance from LOA1 to the mirror and LOA2/3 to the mirror. If it works out it sure would be a "cool" box compared to the 400 watt heater I'm planing on 😉

I'm just starting to get a grip on the optics and lighting end of my project, it's not my strong suit for sure 🙁 But what the heck..I'm learning. My question was only based on gut reaction (not allways a good source of info) when you come up with results please let us know 🙂

The question is that does the point the light reflects effect the total light output even if all 3 light souces travel the same distence?

i think you are closer to the best solution than you think.
your drawing has ofcourse a flaw ...... the ligh beam you drew does not go straight but in all directions when we talk about LOA's. but it is not a disadvantage.
However, and i think that was also my AND ZARK's success ofcourse, it is the abundance of light (3x6850 lumes in your case) that will correct a lot. you can compare it with the starting years of Windows . the enormous amount of memory this program needed compared to other commercial available software made it better, no matter what you though of it. At first glance it looks like the developper os Microsoft were only good as PowerUsers, but at the end they made it.
Same for loa's: they produce so much power=Lumens that, whatever you do, a clear picture will be projected.

Well, the reason for the angle of the mirror is to compress the light, as the lenth of the light area is larger then the lcd panel. I got an LOA and am trying to build a projector with my old 2 inch LCD tv--So far I am not having vary good results to be honest.
