Hi,
I ask for opinion on the 180 SMPS thread about it but now answer for now 🙁
And the price is light 😉

They don't appear to be interchangeable -- output voltages are different.Has anyone done any comparisons between the Redrock SMPS6060-PFC and the Hypex SMPS180?
there has been some previous discussion of the redrocks SMPS here. I think you can stipulate the rails voltage when you order. There is also a wiring diagram for Hypex connections.

ArthurG,
I'm using Hypex since 2006 in my mastering studio, more and more sound engineers believe in hypex technology !

I have used a UcD180AD for two years, they are blameless. If you don't like the sound you have got used to other amp's colorations or your system doesn't sound good with a neutral amp, plenty of those around. These are amps you can build a system around. Haven't heard ICE but have owned a tripath which I killed by mistake (over voltage)
