I have two Ice 1000 ASP modules. They may be used "as is " (some amplifiers are that simple), or I can add on a input buffer, input LP-filter (anti aliasing), LL transformer and so on. All of the devices or one? J-fet buffer or OPA 627/Ad815 ? In which order ? Being a newbee I dare to ask you jolly good fellows for your advice how to get the best musicality out of this power station.

All good questions... the only answer you'll get really is... experiment. Those modules aren't typicaly sold to the general public so not many will have experience with them and those who you do likely won't help ya, they'd rather sell you theirs.

Should it not have the basics like an AA filter already? As far as transformers that's more of an implementation requirement or not, I guess you'll find that out as you go. As per op amps or Jfet buffer, that'll depend on how well you can implement them as well as your personal tastes. So, experiment, and let us know.

Yes, i can imagine that.
I got some mails after this posting if I (or somebody else) could supply Ice modules. I have detached the modules from an existing amplifier.
The ICE module own input impedance is only 8k, not very suitable for tube pre. I'can't leave things without tweaking, not even when cooking, fixing the the boat and so on.
I'll experiment on, report to follow if any success (i.e. no smoke)
