Hi all-
I have a long USB link that I would like to make wireless. Here is the cable I need to emulate:
I need "across the living room" range - 25 or 30 feet is just fine, so Bluetooth seems like one way to go - I've found nothing that does this.
I have found devices that will turn the left plug into Wi-Fi but I've not found anything to get it back to USB at the other end (plug on right).
There is no way to change the receiving end, it has to become USB again. Any suggestions? Thanks.

12m is still achievable with wire, e.g.

more with fiber optics extenders, but it is expensive.

What device sits at the ends? I had the same cable between my PC and printer. I solved the distance problem by connecting the printer to a nearby print server, and sending the printing commands through wifi.
If your application is different, maybe you need something like this:

But you also need an RS232-to-USB converter on both ends. Even so I am not sure it would work out of the box, because both wireless adapters should connect to your wifi router, and they should address each other. I don't think there is a ready made solution for this - but perhaps there is.
