Hi guys,
Ive got 6 OPA627's as a IV in my DAC.
Is it normal for them to get quite warm to the touch?
I wouldnt have thought so....
They are running at +-12V.
Thanks.

Sorry, I'm being ignorant, but the question has been burning for a long time and I have yet to stumble across the meaning:
What is I/V? I feel like it is something to do with signal inversion...
Thanks in advance for answering what is probably an obvious question.

Almost all DAC chips give their output as a varying current rather than voltage, and as most Hi-Fi uses a voltage for signals rather than current, the current (I) signal must be converted into a voltage one (V).
