I²S to S/pdif

Hi,

I would like to get a I²S converter to S/pdif or even better AES/EBU. I would need this for 8 channel to use it on a minidsp USBStreamer. Until now I only found TPA Spdif transmitter board using WM8804 chip. As I need several times it would make sense to make a own layout with only 1 clock, power supply etc.

So anyone has a good starting point for me like a schematic for 1 signal conversion? The datasheet of the 8804 looks not to difficult but I am not familiar with all this clocking issues and where to take care on it...
Also for other chip like CS8406 I would be happy...

Hi,

oh well....ehm...solved! I checked more carefully the datasheet and I guess I got it now. Should by not too difficult to make a small board for that ;-)

The LED stuff on TPA site confused me; but after a while figured that out.

So can be closed here sorry for unecessary post!
