Hmmm... i've even got matched pairs (well at least the same part #). I'm gonna have to figure out how to use the hodge podge of test kit i've gathered to effectively use them like that thou...

And HF compensation in pwr-amplifiers (toob of course). Might get a nice shock tho if it were connected to some voltage!
And back to the 5 tube radio; it would most definitely be a "12" not a "6" volt filament. Duh! 300mA vers 150mA, the other tubes would geeit too much "juice" and shine nice and bright while the 6AV6 would barely glow. Now they add up to 121V, close enough.
If I'd been on Jeapordy I would've missed the answer or question however it goes!
Good catch guys! 😉 Must of been all those 6A^6's I was looking at in my tube stash. Got dozens of 'em. A 12/6AT6 is 1/2 of a 5751.
