i finally finished my projector and then this happened: (check attachment)


the stupid cable ripped. im guessing i cant repair this. my only options are to get a new cable or spend another 200 bucks on a new panel. guess which one id rather do.
the manufacturer of the whole unitl is 3m, but the lcd is hitachi. theres also sime info on the cable itself:

any suggestions?

Your pics don't tell the whole story, are the connectors the same pitch/width as the cable if so, since your break is pretty close to the end couldn't you just cut it back shave/melt off the coating and good to go?
