Ok, I'm once again looking for a new 12" sub. Already owned a brahma, but sold it as i got a real good price for it ($600  ).Now I'd like to know what's the best SQ/SPL sub out there right now. I want something to fit in a 2^3ft ported enclosure. But i want the best, something that gets real, real, real loud, and very, very low, echoing bass if possible. Something strong enuff to beat guys with say a pair of normal 12" woofers. Only the best please, heaviest bass and most powerful. It'll be for everyday driving, but enuff to play at a beach party. I don't know if i'm askin too much, but i did do damage with my Brahma. Jus wanna know if it gets better. Budget isn't a factor, but nothin over $700 though. Anyways, all ideas are welcomed. Thanx 😉 .

a brahma is probably one of the best spl drivers ull get for that price i would think, i think adire have a new driver out based on the brahma, not the tumult something else, might have to ask mr.woodhead (i think thats his name 🙂) about it.

If you want ultra low bass and the best sensitivity either get a Rockford Fostgate Punch sub car subwoofer the 600w rms 12 inch, with freq. response of 15hz-1khz

Or the Eminence Omega Pro 12 pa driver rated 800w rms,99db SPL 1w at 1m,8 ohm,25hz-2khz,4 inch voice coil,109 oz magnet, double dampener.

And put the 12 inch in a quad chamber bandpass box for ultra sub bass of about 15hz lowest to 250hz cut off point.[With a passive lowpass or maybe active lowpass crossover].

Personally I prefer bigger drivers for deep bass, 15 inch and 18 inch, massive drivers for earth shaking bass, 21 inch and 24 inch.

If your at all interested in 24 inch drivers with 6 inch voice coils, and 1000w rms rating, check out www.precision-device.com
